After more than three years of working on the project, Niklas Liepe finally released his "New Paganini Project" which features an arrangement of Niccolò Paganini's (1782-1840) Capriccio XIX. (op. 1) for symphony orchestra and violin. I am very grateful to be part of such a great project and suggest listening to the whole CD as it features an incredibly great bunch of newly composed/arranged orchestra-accompaniments for the widely known Caprices of Paganini by composers like Andreas Gömmel, Henrik Albrecht, Gerard Tamestit, Basti Bund, Tobias Rokahr, Peter Wesenauer, Benjamin Scheuer, Martin Messmer, Stephan Lenz, Claus Kühnl, Adolf Busch, Sidney Corbett, Andrea Csollany, Friedrich Heinrich Kern and last but not least: Andreas N. Tarkmann.
If you speak (or want to brush up on your) german i suggest reading the following article the DRP-orchestra published for the release. (continue...)
